I often forget to do this.
I’m chugging along in my training, building up workouts from week to week. Then I read a book and want to change everything, forgetting where I’m at.
I aim to make changes slowly. But even this can be too much.
So I get injured and have to start from scratch. I didn’t get to see where the original training was taking me, and I didn’t get to give the new approach a fair go.
Train from where you are, always.
